In the process of creating and filling a document, the number of pages in it increases automatically, but sometimes we need a new page in the Word somewhere in the middle of the document, so now we will look at how to add a page in the Word anywhere in the document.
You can add a page to Word through the menu on the “Insert” tab, using the menu items “Blank page” and “Page break“. Both of these points will allow us to create a new page in the Word, but they do it with a slight difference.

When using the “Blank page” menu item , a new page will be added in the Word immediately before the cursor, i.e. if our text was located on one sheet and the cursor was located in the middle of the text, then the text before the cursor will remain on the first page, then a blank page will be added, and the text after the cursor will already be located on the third page.
If you then turn on the display of hidden characters, you can see that two page breaks were used to add a page in the Word. Thus, using the “Page Break” menu item , you can achieve the same result and add a page in the Word by applying this item for the first time to create a page break between the text before and after the cursor, and then a second time to create a new page in the Word.
In addition, Word has the ability to add a title page, which will be added to the beginning of the document regardless of the location of the cursor. To do this, select the “Title Page” menu item on the “Insert” tab, and select one of the template options.
