How to do Subscript on Google Docs

Subscript is a small in size of the folded number or alphabet. Such as A₂. In this post we will learn how to subscript  Google Docs in different ways.

Insert From Google Docs Tools

Select the element on which we are going to add Subscript then follow below steps;

  • Go to Insert Tab
  • Select the Special Character from drop down menu. 

  • You can select the Subscript from the opened box.


Format From Google Docs Tools

Select the element on which we are going to add Subscript then follow below steps;
  • Go to Format Tab and select Text from drop down menu.

  • Then select the Subscript from opened menu.

Use Key Combination
  • Select the element on which we are going to add Subscript then then press the CTRL +, 

  • To remove the subscript, you just have to select the subscript element and press the CTRL +, again.

Note: We can follow same process to add Superscript in Google Docs but we have to use CTRL +. key combination.
