Subscripts are relatively small in size of the folded number or alphabet. Such as: H₂.In this post we will learn how to subscript in Google Docs and Slides in three different ways.
The first via Google Docs second via Key Combinations and third directly via Insert option.
SUBSCRIPT VIA Tools
Select the element that will be the subscript then go to the Format tab and select Text then click Subscript.

SUBSCRIPT VIA INSERT TAB
Select the element that will be the subscript then go to the Insert tab and select Special Character option.

SUBSCRIPT VIA KEY COMBINATION
Select the element that will be the subscript Then press the CTRL +, key.
To remove the subscript, you just have to select the subscript element and press the CTRL +,key again.
Note: You can use same process to use Superscripts in Google Docs, However if you use Key Combination then you have to press CTRL +.
